Welcome! I’m Tim

This site is the hub that houses the various ways in which I endeavour to serve others. In addition to my full-time role in theological higher education, I support people from all backgrounds in their personal and professional lives through Professional Supervision, Pastoral Supervision, Mentoring & Coaching, and Spiritual Direction.

I also use this space to share my thoughts on life, faith, and the future of our planet through my Blog. I have always appreciated the gift of other people’s thoughts. I believe that one of the greatest resources we have is access to the minds of the brightest and most brilliant people on earth. While I certainly don’t consider myself to be in that particular category, I do hope that my thoughts are a gift to you and that my ideas will in some way help you flourish in this remarkable experience we share called life.

For the majority of my working career, I have spent my time leading and speaking. It’s what I do best and enjoy most. I have discovered through the process of doing both that there is an art to living life well that can only be developed through a curious mind, an adventurous spirit and a willingness to learn and grow. I hope that what I have to share with you inspires you to embrace all three.

I’m married to an amazing woman called Liezl, have two beautiful children, Nathan and Rachael and I’m a passionate wildlife photographer with a deep concern for the future of our planet. I’m particularly interested in eco-theology and how faith in God shapes our response to the environmental challenges of our day.

I also happen to play a mean game of poker, so feel free to hit me up and deal me in.

If you would like to contact me to discuss how I might be able to serve you, your community or organisation, scroll down to the bottom of this page and reach out via email or social media.

Generosity lies at the heart of a meaningful and enjoyable life and before your giving changes anyone, it changes you”.
